About This Script

Quickly resize artboards to predefined social media dimensions or custom sizes. Includes presets for Instagram (Post 1080x1080, Story 1080x1920, Reel 1080x1920), Facebook (Post 1200x630, Cover 820x312, Story 1080x1920), Twitter/X (Post 1200x675, Header 1500x500), LinkedIn (Post 1200x627, Cover 1584x396), YouTube (Thumbnail 1280x720, Banner 2560x1440), Pinterest (Pin 1000x1500), and more. Supports batch resize of multiple artboards, with options to scale content or just resize the artboard. Includes a custom size option with DPI control.

How to Install

Method 1 — Run directly

  1. Download the .jsx file
  2. Open Illustrator
  3. Go to File > Scripts > Other Script...
  4. Select the downloaded .jsx file
  5. The script runs immediately

Method 2 — Install permanently

  1. Copy the .jsx file to the Scripts folder:
  2. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator [version]\Presets\en_US\Scripts\
  3. Restart Illustrator
  4. Find the script under File > Scripts > Artboard Resizer

How do I run this script?
In Illustrator: File > Scripts > Other Script, then select the .jsx file. In Photoshop: File > Scripts > Browse, then select the .jsx file. Alternatively, copy the file to your Presets/Scripts folder and restart the application.
