Converts between point text (single-line, no text box) and area text (multi-line, with text box) while preserving all formatting including font family, size, color, leading, tracking, paragraph alignment, and character styles. When converting point text to area text, you can specify the text box width (or auto-calculate from the longest line). When converting area text to point text, overflow text is preserved. The script can process all text in the document, selected text only, or text on specific layers. Supports bulk conversion. Saves significant time when reformatting text-heavy layouts.
